Moses ist ein aufstrebender, zeitgenössischer Künstler, der seinen Meister der Malerei in Rom, der Hauptstadt Italiens studiert hat. Eine frühe Ausstellung des Künstlers in Rom in 2005 mit dem Titel Metamorphose untersucht die Suche nach Erlösung. Die Idee, die hinter diesen Arbeiten steckt, geht zurück bis zu den alten Ägyptern und deren Methode, ihre Pharaonen für ihr Leben nach dem Tod vorzubereiten. Diese Serie wurde in Rom fertiggestellt, als Papst Johannes Paul II auf dem Sterbebett lag. Das 13. und letzte Gemälde, dieser Reihe und Arbeiten, wurde einen Tag vor der Beisetzungszeremonie des Papstes vollendet und ist eine symbolische Annerkennung des Papstes und seiner Würde. Es stellt das Auffahren der Seele in den Himmel dar, während die Kardinäle dieses Geschehen beobachten. Gleichzeitig sieht man die heilige Mutter Maria und einen Engel den Rosenkranz beten.
Im Jahr 2008 nahm Moses an einem Projekt in Holland teil, in welchem 13 internationale Künstler in einem ehemaligen Gefängnis isoliert eingesperrt wurden. Dies als Demonstration für die Menschenrechte. Dieses Projekt, welches den Namen “13 Isolations” trug, bekam ein weiterer Wendepunkt in der Karriere des Künstlers. Sobald er zurück in Köln war, nahm er eine Stellung als Kunstlehrer am Geschwister Scholl Gymnasium in Pulheim an, welches sich ausdrücklich gegen Rechtsextremismus und Rassismus ausspricht und auch ein Label dafür trägt.
Auch wenn die Kunstwerke sehr wichtig für ihn sind, sagt Moses, so sind es doch hauptsächlich die Lebenstile, Mühen und Sichtweisen bekannter Künstler wie z.B. Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Basquiat und Pollack, die eine zentrale Rolle für ihn spielen und die ihn faszinieren. Mit international, künstlerischen Erfahrungen entwickelt Moses Foster seine unkonventionellen Arbeiten weiter und stellt sie aus.

Moses is a young artist to keep an eye on. His final Master´s Thesis was created over a 2 year span while completing his M.F.A in Rome. The works exhibited in 2005 with the title “Metamorphosis“ examines the search for salvation. The idea originally sparked from his interest in how the old Egyptians prepared their pharoahs for the after life. This 13 part series was finished in Rome as Pope John Paul 2nd lie on his death bed. The 13th and final painting was completed just one day before the burial ceremony and features the soul of Pope ascending into heaven as the cardinals gaze upon the scene. In this painting is an interpretation of mother Maria and an angel praying over the Rosary.
In 2008, Moses participated in a project in Holland, where 13 international artists were placed in isolation in a former prison. This as a demonstration for human rights became a turning point in the artist´s career. After returning back to Cologne, Moses was offered and accepted a 1 year position as an art teacher. This school, the Geschwister Schöll Gymnasium, stands against right-wing extremism and racism.
Even if the works of art are important, says Moses, there is still no way we can over look the importance in the lifestyle, troubles and other aspects surrounding well known artists like Carravaggio, Michelangelo, Basquiat, Pollack, Picasso, Van Gogh, Goya, Rembrandt and countless others who play a central role in why I´m endlessly fascinated and determined to follow my creative path.
With international experience, Moses Foster is currently working as a full-time artist and continues to develop and expose modern day issues through art. His works can be found in private collections and are also exhibited in solo, group shows and non-conventional spaces.
